SELF LEADERSHIP

Introduction

“Who we are, is who we bring to work”

This is a course about change - personal change!

There is a person with whom you spend more time than any other, a person who has more influence over you, and more ability to interfere with or to support your growth than anyone else.  This ever-present companion is your own self. Our greatest potential source of leadership and influence comes not from an external leader, but from within ourselves!

Overall Objectives

  • Self-leadership is the key to employee effectiveness at work. Self-led employees may offer the best blueprint for achieving employee and organisational effectiveness in the 21st century.
  • This course is focused on changing lives, and as a result, creates the capacity to change organisations.

Specific Objectives

This course is about helping the individual to realize they that have to get their lives in order, to be able to make a significant ongoing contribution to the organization they are working for. It ‘presses the growth button’ and facilitates the realisation for on-going personal growth and development.

Methodology

This is a highly interactive programme, using audio-visuals which include numerous appropriate video-clips and the screening of an outstanding video of Dr David Molapo (Johannesburg) entitled: ’10 Exiting Keys to Success’.  Numerous ‘stories’ are told which highlights how potential can be reached when thinking patterns are changed.
