Introduction
Delegation is typically defined as a rather simple
process of giving assignments to subordinates. It is
tainted for its significant pay off’s of providing
the manager with more time and allowing him or her to
focus attention on more rather than less significant
issues. It is also viewed as a key to training and development
of subordinates as well as the wise allocation of organisational
resources.
